Set timer (up to 30 minutes) and press reset button to start. When timer stops, beeper reminds you to check the horizon. Press reset button to start timer again. If not reset in 1 minute, beeper changes to an extremely loud siren (102dB), to wake crew.

The Watch Commander Pro, commercial vessel version, has a locking metal enclosure and 15amp dpdt relay for autopilot disengage and general alarm trigger.
